The Workyard
To provide some shade from the heat of the blazing son and to provide an area also protected from the torrential rain that are characteristic in Thailand we had the rear yard covered over with a huge roof.
I make use of this additional space to expand my working area into. Here are some details of what you can see in the general workyard photo.
First a general view of the left-hand side of the workyard. The right-hand side is taken up with domestic items like tables and seating.
On the far right are two steel workbenches I have made. In the foreground is the vice and heavy workbench. This also carries the strip bender which I use foe bending traction engine spokes.
In the background is the topless steel bench used for painting. you can just about make out a front wheel rim on the top.
Next are a few embryo parts for the traction engine back wheels and a front wheel hub, painted.

Good morning Alan
Just looking at the latest photographs of the newly delivered Boiler. I must say how impressive it looks.
A very professional looking job. The CE mark is a nice touch as it will give confidence to any one around the engine while it is in steam. Now you have it available as you complete the different components you will have some were to hang them.
The wheels are coming along nicely so it should not be to long before it is full steam ahead to the local for a pub lunch.
I hope the hand is responding to the treatment off Beer and Paracetamol. But I have been told that Paracetamol can be bad for the liver. So I would reduce the tablets and up the beer.
Look forward to the next set of photographs
George
Where and who made that?
Looks great Alan,…you’ve certainly been keeping yourself busy.
